BW Facility Management Conference and Excellence Awards 2023: Honouring Excellence in the FM Industry

The Facility Management industry has seen remarkable growth, has expanded its responsibilities and embraced new skills to utilise technology. Facility Management now places great importance on employee safety, engagement, employing efficient facility management practices that enhance overall business efficiency. The rise of Facility Management can be attributed to factors like modernisation, rapid urban development, and a heightened awareness among both commercial and residential clients.

Despite the challenges, the facility management industry in India has witnessed significant investments and developments in the recent past, especially after covid-19.

To acknowledge India’s elite facility leaders, BW Businessworld hosted the inaugural edition of prestigious “BW Facility Management Conference and Excellence Awards 2023”. The award ceremony aimed at recognizing and felicitating the best of the talent pool at an individual and organisational level within the facility management industry for their significant contribution.

The Process and Methodology

More than 100 nominations were received. Among these, 53 nominations were shortlisted and were then presented to the jury. The final winners were decided by the jury members and jury chair B. Thiagarajan, MD, Blue Star Ltd; each jury had an independent scoring system.

The participants were judged on various parameters such as;

• Executing progressive initiatives/projects for smart solutions 
• Accomplishments in the Facility Management role 
• Key developments you would like to make in the next 5 years
• Overcoming challenges and making an impact in the Facility Management industry
