Temporarily ceased Indian airline, Go First reportedly extended the cancellation of its scheduled flights till 10 July, according to a media report on Tuesday.
The airline, undergoing insolvency resolution before the National Company Law Tribunal, stopped its service on 3 May and since then has extended the cancellation of flights multiple times.
Earlier, the air carrier had mentioned the flight cancellation till 6 July.
Meanwhile, Go First has issued an official statement expressing its apologies. It said the flight cancellation are due to operational reasons.
Reports mentioned that last week a senior representative from Go First’s current management has discussed various aspects of the revival plan with officials of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
It said the company is in talks for its immediate resolution application and operations revival.
DGCA will also undertake a special audit of Go First’s facilities in Delhi and Mumbai from 4-6 July before approving a revival plan for the resumption of flights.
